Frequently asked questions
These are the questions that do not need a whole guide, plus pointers when they do.
What I checked
Store answers use the current Steam app fields. Gameplay answers use the linked walkthrough and trophy sources; platform-specific achievement lists should be checked separately.
Buying, platforms and languages
Official downloads lists Windows PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2. For Steam US Standard $39.99 and Deluxe $49.99, see editions; those are a 14 October 2026 regional snapshot.
The free Steam demo covers the Prologue and part of Episode 1, and does not transfer saves. PC requirements lists 80 GB available space for the game and 50 GB for the demo, rather than measured download sizes.
Steam lists English audio and eight text languages, including German and Simplified Chinese. See the German guide and platform comparison.
Progress, endings and getting unstuck
Playtime by style separates main story, extras and completionist submissions. The objective walkthrough covers the full route, and saving explains how to preserve earlier areas.
Both endings depend on the final action choice. The trophy roadmap distinguishes the PS5 list from Steam's 69 achievements.
For a lock, use keypad combinations or lockpicks. For the box or a platform, use puzzle solutions.
Mature content and technical help
Content warnings summarises ESRB M17+ and the Steam notice. Platform censorship explains Saber's same-content statement.
For crashes, follow PC troubleshooting and report the affected build to Saber. Official announcements distinguish demo changes from full-game updates.
