What I checked

These guides summarise the objective route documented by PowerPyx. Repeated Hunt Marlowe objectives share one guide with separate stages; Exit the Labyrinth covers both visits. They are navigation groupings, not an invented in-game chapter count.

Prologue and cult escape

Start here for the first Labyrinth visit and the Scarlet Church opening.

Find Sunny - looping corridors, fire transfer and the prologue exit.
Escape the Cult - restraints, Tongue Key, Bruno's keycard, Leviathan statuette and VIP token.
Take Back the Genesis Configuration - return through the glass door and inspect the coat.
Escape Charlotte - sewer shop, van, graveyard and statue key.

Sunny and Charlotte's heart

The first heart hunt includes the mansion, swamp and well before Charlotte's arena.

Free Sunny's Soul - second Chatterer chase and Sunny's pillar.
Exit the Labyrinth - blocks, rotating walkway and stairs.
Open the Gate to Charlotte - Statue's Hand, Head and Tongue.
Claim Charlotte's Heart - arena and heart pickup.
Give Charlotte's Heart to Sunny - pressure plate, ceiling trap and apartment loop.

Marlowe, Sister of Mercy and the finale

Hunt Marlowe appears more than once. Use the stage headings inside that guide when the route resumes after each heart delivery.

Hunt Marlowe - club, private rooms, factory lift, mansion and sewer.
Claim the Sister of Mercy's Heart - fight and Hellchains finisher.
Give the Sister of Mercy's Heart to Sunny - Leviathan's beam and the return.
Give Marlowe's Heart to Sunny - post-boss objective.
Return to Sunny - Ritual of Rebirth.
Make Your Choice - both endings and final-save reload.

Completion checklist

PowerPyx's console roadmap requires five firearms, twelve crafting recipes and five of each Pain/Suffering Pillar. Notes add lore but are not required for its PS5 platinum route. Steam has a different achievement list.

Keep separate saves around the graveyard, statue hunts, club and finale; see saving.
Check missable trophies before moving on, especially A Quiet Place and the reported first-shop tracking issues.
Use keypad codes, puzzles, boss strategies and chase routes for a specific obstacle.

Questions

How many chapters are there?

No traditional chapter count. The demo store page does say Prologue plus a portion of Episode 1, which is the only 'episode' label I have from Steam.
