Launch day, 8 October 2026

This is a record of the day, not a review.

Checked 2026-10-14

What I checked

Steam flipped coming_soon off and printed Oct 8, 2026. The US price I rechecked on the 14th was still $39.99. IGN posted a launch trailer that day. Germany's stores were not all in the same state; that story is the next note.

What I can confirm shipped

PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 were the announced platforms. The demo remained a separate app, still warning that progress would not carry.
